Breitbart News, an online news and opinion site founded by Steve Bannon, has been exposed as a front for the “Climate Depot,” a disinformation machine that falsely claimed that “ClimateGate” was the work of “Climate Change” and that the “CDC’s own investigators” were involved in the operation.
The website, which has received nearly $20 million in funding from Breitbart News publisher and former Breitbart News executive chairman Steve Bannon’s personal fortune, has long been a platform for climate-change deniers and climate-denier allies.
The “Climate Desk” article, published by the left-leaning site, was written by Breitbart News reporter Andrew Breitbart, who previously worked for Breitbart News and Breitbart News Network.
The article, titled “The Climate Depot” (a parody of a conservative news website) is an attempt to counter the claims made in the discredited “Climate Audit” study by the conservative group the Center for Science and Democracy, which claimed that climate change is a global problem, and that scientists “have been lying to us for decades” to achieve their agendas.
The Climate Audit, which was published in March of this year, argued that climate scientists have been lying about the severity of the climate change crisis, and concluded that there is “no evidence” to support the theory that human activity is to blame for the warming of the planet.
The report, however, also claimed that there were many climate scientists who have “denied the existence of climate change” and have “misrepresented scientific evidence to mislead the public.”
The Climate Desk article claims that “climate scientists have lied to us, and their lies have had catastrophic consequences,” citing a 2015 report published by a group of scientists that claimed that 97 percent of climate scientists “consistently deny the existence and severity of climate crisis.”
In response, the Climate Depot article argues that the entire report, including the author’s “bizarrely distorted and politically motivated” analysis of the study, “was the product of a small cadre of climate-skeptical scientists.”
The article claims to “expose the real agenda behind the Climate Audit and expose the climate denial and disinformation campaign that Breitbart News has become.”
The “climate denier” website, the “climate science denier,” the “denier of climate science,” and the “skeptic of climate” are the most commonly used words in the article, which is titled “Climate Science Denier” and is published by Breitbart.
The title of the article is a reference to a phrase used by Breitbart’s former senior editor Milo Yiannopoulos, who is known for using the term “Climate Denier.”
The phrase is an insult that refers to a person who denies the existence or severity of a phenomenon.
The term “climate denial” is a catch-all term for people who oppose the notion of human-caused global warming.
Breitbart News is a media company that publishes conservative news, opinion, and commentary.
The site is also a platform where Breitbart News’ other platforms, including Breitbart News Daily, Breitbart News News Homepage, and The Drudge Report, publish content from Breitbart.com.
