The solar industry has seen its fair share of controversies in the past year.
Last year, a federal court ordered a solar farm on a national park to be shut down for violating federal laws, and another court in California ruled against solar developers when they applied for permits to build on federal lands.
The US Department of Energy recently announced a plan to build two solar farms, both in Arizona, in the state’s largest county, Tucson, to help generate enough power to power the city of Tucson.
The two farms are being built under a $5 billion, 50-year contract that runs through 2024.
But what about the solar energy technicians that help install the solar panels?
The sun is a great source of energy, but sometimes solar panels are not the brightest source of light.

But the solar technicians aren’t the only people who are required to wear protective gear, and the cost of these protective equipment is not being taken into account.
Some of the solar power companies that are involved in the solar panel installation have had to raise their prices for the panels to get the contracts renewed.
As solar power continues to grow in Brazil and across the world in the coming years, the costs of solar power are expected to increase.
The sun and the weatherThe weather is the biggest factor that determines whether or not a solar panel will work.
As a solar energy technician works on the panels, it can be very cold and windy.
“If the panels aren´t protected from the elements, the energy is lost,” said Paulina Silva, a professor of electrical and computer engineering at the University of São Paulo.
